On June 5, 2026, the three-day ATC Shanghai International Automotive Technology and Components Exhibition concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Haitian Optics & Machinery comprehensively showcased a full-scale intelligent manufacturing solution for laser cladding of brake discs, addressing the key industrial challenges of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and extended service life for brake discs.

Second-generation fully automated production line for laser-clad braking discs

In 2025, Haitian Optics successfully launched China's first laser coating production line for brake discs, earning the prestigious "Zishang Award." Less than a year later, the second-generation production line was introduced with four major technological breakthroughs.

Annual production capacity per line: 250,000–300,000 pieces

Grinding allowance: 90–130 μm

Running deviation: ≤0.02 mm

Brake disc thickness variation: ≤0.006 mm
